Smart phone tuning app's - Samsung Galaxy Nexus!

I just got a new smartphone - Samsung Galaxy Nexus & need to know if the following is available??

I'm trying to find a FREE & decent OBD I & II computer code application that covers all 1G DSM's.

PLUS

I'm also trying to find a FREE engine & transmission tuning apps that covers OBD 1 Mitsubishi/DSM ECU & TCU"S

Want to have an ability to either re-tune or bypass the entire ECU or TCU on the car.

Which FREE Phone apps would you suggest that can accommodate both tasks, if available??? Does not have to be all in one app!


Please, this is a serious inquiry, no smart a$$ remarks wanted on this post!

You will almost certainly not find any app for an ODBI scanner for a DSM. There are multiple apps for OBDII that are free but you need a bluetooth OBDII dongle adapter.

Also I am unsure exactly what you mean by tuning apps and re-tune or bypass the ecu. You cannot modify the ecu via the diagnostic port on any pre 97 ecu, nor can you bypass it.

As for smartass remarks, you are asking for things that are simply not possible... You can pull codes with a buzzer or multimeter, you can datalog with a variety of devices but datalogging is NOT tuning.

You want apps that do all of that but are free. I see.

As Sean said, you're most likely not going to find an app for 1g DSMs, especially an all-in-one for 1g DSMs.

Well you figure the have apps for audio books, they should have or create an app for shop manuals too since it's really a book also!

Just making more sense of today's technology & showing people that yes, this can be done!

I have an Apexi Neo fuel management computer which needs to be installed in my car!

I was wondering if there is an free application for a smart phone out there I could use instead that could do the same job as the Apexi Neo??

This would be a GREAT find if something like this also exists! I don't want to have to hard wire anything if I don't have to? Technology should have caught up with these cars inconsistencies & flaws by now??

Like others have said, it is simply not possible at this point.

What exactly do you mean by technology catching up with the flaws of these cars? If you want more technology in your car then perhaps you should buy a car that is not over two decades old lol.
