so i bought the car for 800 and well.... let me just start with the story so yall know what im working with. and i do have a quesi serched but realy had no luck finding. i was driving a tow truck and was called by an appt complex for a privet impound. she could pay the $50 to drop the car or have it impounded. as i was hooking it up i noticed the intercooler and i asked if she wanted to sell it and she said yes. she wanted 3000 and i told her id give her 800 since i could not here it run. she finally said yes and i took it home. opend the hood and i found a huge god speed radiator 16g turbo and a couple other things. i charged the battery and tryed to start it and herd a loud grinding noise.new starter but as i was installing it i noticed there was about 4 transmisssion bolts missing from the bell housing. now im playing hell trying to find those bolts since i was told only 2 were the same size. where do i find the size of these dang things???? btw what dumb a$$ puts a tranny compleatly together and does not put bell housing bolt in.
Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you got a nice deal on the GSX. You'll wanna post up a pic so we can see what you got! As for the tranny bolts, check out this link. It tells you the size and thread/pitch etc of each bolt basically for all major parts on these cars. Also before a moderator jumps all over you, check out our rules for posting especially number 7. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. Both of the links that have been posted will help you in your quest to find what you are looking for. As Bradikus7 said please be mindful of our rule #7. Good luck with your project.
Moved out of trans tech. Like stated above, welcome to the forum. Please take the time all the time when you post to make a good post. You would be surprised how different a well written post like your last will be treated alot of times from a post such as your first. Sounds like you got a wicked deal good luck in the future.
Its not really transmission tech. It is more of a newbie question. Its not a big deal at all. Plus, in the newbie section you have alot more slack when adjusting to the rules than you would be aloted in the tech sections.
So little update. I got the car running finaly and now I found that one of the brake lines have a hole in it. It realy isnt a big deal but the car also needs some other minor things that start to add up. Here it a short list if your wondering. #1. rusted hood, trunk lid, and roof. #2. front and rear bumpers are riped from car being so dang low. #3. The pas side front wheel bearing is bad. #4. the worst of all. The dang wheel lock is gone and I am playing heck trying to get one. Also i have a pic of the car for yall.
I finaly got the lug nuts off and bought new ones. I also fixed the brakes so it stops like it should. As I was on a test drive I noticed that it felt like it was running on 3 cylenders. After manny thoughts and discusions with other people I tore the head off and this is what i found,
I don't see anything wrong with that. /sarcasm. Start checking out your local DSM scene. Alot of times you will find people more than willing locally to help you out doing the work, sharing the knowledge and especially helping you source the parts to get it going again.
I would definitely check the turbo over well and pull the turbine housing off the center cartridge. That valve piece had to go somewhere so it's either stuck in the turbine housing or it made it past and out the turbo somewhere.
