95 Talon ESI 2.0L auto trans problems(limp mode maybe?) help please!!!

Hi, I just bought a 95 Talon ESI 2.0l Auto and a week later i have a major issue that i can not put my finger on. It started with not having any reverse lights or interior lights and no blown fuses that i can find. Also now and then the car would not shift to 3rd. If i am in drive while driving and bump the trans into neutral then back into drive i have nothing until i come to a stop, then at this point shifting is fine again.......After trying to look into these problems i had only gone as far as unplugging the 4 sensors on the tranny looking for a bad connection while only unplugging one at a time. The connections seem fine and tight when plugged in. I decided i was just going to put an toggle switch in for the reverse lights for inspection and i then made sure everything was back together tight and correct. At this point i got into the car to go to the parts store for wire and a switch for the reverse lights and here come the major issue....My speedo is no longer working and the car will only drive in 2nd and reverse. I am lost at what the problem is, i was planning on getting a TCM from the junkyard but i have not been able to locate the location of the TCM in the car. I have been told it was under the dash behind the radio and i can not seem to find it at all. The junkyard did not have any talons so i tried looking in the 2dr sebrings of the same year and i can not find it in these vehicles either. I am told that they are interchangeable with the sebring and stratus's. Can ANYONE lend me some insight to what i am missing and send me in the right direction? Thank you for your time. Sincerely yours, The DSM Newbie

I have not personally rebuilt a 2g n/t Chrysler transmisson but it seems that it is a fairly common transmission and is likely compatible with a cloud car. Most of the domestic car manufacturers use a pcm that controlls both the transmission and the cars engine rather than having seperate controllers, again I'm not positive on your n/t but that may be the reason why your not finding a tcu.
