Leaky oil from crankshaft under boost.
Just as the title states, had the engine rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. Driven mildly by an adult.
The plastic cover over the crank has oil on it.
At first I thought it was the oil pan because that is where it flings it as i drive, especially under boost.
There is none on the timing belt, and everything in the lower timing cover looks very clean.
So my question is, what exactly is leaking? the crank seal?
I have balance shaft deletes.
525 yellow top injectors
Catch can with 2 welded ports into my VC running steel braids to the can. (never seems to get much oil)
act2600 clutch(new master and slave)
3 inch exhaust, FMIC CAD all the other walbro 255 all that other good stuff.
Car runs perfectly fine. Better than it did before the build. Even at WOT.
Just can't figure out where this oil is coming from and why it goes everywhere under WOT.
It looks to be under the crank pulley. but outside the timing cover? How is that even possible?
I do notice the oil pressures seems to be a tad bit lower than the last build, but not really noticeable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
