Power to fixed antenna?

Does anyone know if its an easy swap to go from a power antenna to a standard fixed antenna? This is for a 2G.

It should be as simple as unplugging the old one and swapping the units. The fixed antenna cable should be the same connector as the power, and you just wouldn't have to plug the motor power connector back into anything.

I'll trade ya my fixed antenna for your power antenna. Does anyone know if all the cars come with the harness for the power antenna? That's like the only option my car didn't come with.
