Can someone please post pics of their 1g with the Vis Carbon Fiber Invader Style Hood. I'm debating on whether or not I want to buy one and I can't find a picture anywhere. I know some of you guys have bought them so if possible post some pics. Thanks
Are you puking at the car or the hood? The reason its different colors at the moment is that after the kit was put on it started getting cold so we haven't had th chance to have it molded and painted. It will be a solid black soon. I didn't post up the pictures of the car to be told the car is ugly, I did it to help someone out.
Don't take the comments too personally. Anytime you post pics you run the risk of having people comment.....I know, not everyone likes the way my car looks either.
Hey thanks for the pics trowabarton2. I was also wondering the same thing. Did you have any fitment problems with the bulge from the timing belt cover?
There was no fitment problem at all with the hood. As you can tell from the side view picture it raises up higher in the front than the stock hood.
And greenstreak, I love your car! Your car is my favorite 2g Talon. The SF bumper looks really nice and I love the black wheels with a polished lip with the carbon fiber hood. Looks amazing.
Are there any other hood options available for the 1g, besides the oem carbon fiber and the cf invader. I'm not necessarily looking to go carbon fiber, I wouldn't mind fiberglass either it seems though that those are the only two options available. Anyone know of any others?
