getting ready to put car back together...

head is laying in the trunk area and everything else that goes along with it.

i bought...

valves, timing belt, arp head studs, valve cover gasket, exh manni gasket, gonna still buy 2g exh manni (mines cracked of course), mitsu metal head gasket....

i think thats it...

anything im missing? should i get buy a complete gasket set and just do it all? i mean i have it all tore apart anyways.

my timing belt and everything along with it has about 10k on it.

just in case the belt stretched i thought i would get a new one...last thing i want is to fire it up and fuck up the valves again...

let me know if u can think of anything i should do as far as performance or anything u think im missing that is needed...

Are you using the same head that had a timming belt snap? I see you say that you got new valves, but did you get the seats cut for them?

the timing belt didnt snap

the head gasket blew and 2 valves got chipped....

im having all the work done at a reputable shop on the head...then im gonna attempt to put it all together...

i hope the shop realizes how to do a dohc head...i know they are bad ass when it comes to v8 heads...
if u need to know anything else to help me out jsut ask...

how many miles are on it? might want to throw in some new valve seals and cam seals while it is apart.

the car has 75k on it....

i know down the road im gonna build it up all nice..

but im very very limitied on funds right now.

so would a FULL gasket kit have those? i think im gonna get a full set now that way if i have any issues ive only got the gaskets....
