I have a 1g AWD. I red the big post on tires and it is good. However i am looking for a good dry/rain/snow tire. Hey AWD is fun as hell in the snow. So what are you guys running? Stock size is what i am using.

i was about to order the BF goodriches but i read the revies at tirerack.com and they have bad treadwear. the one guy got 15000 miles out of em and thats it. Anyone have something that'll last a little longer?
You will be so dissappointed with all seasons and even more so if you have ever had Z's or higher on your car. All seasons handle like ass and wear about the same. Talk about some serious sidewall flex. Get some cheap winter rims and dedicated winter tires and you will be much happier. I guess it all depends on what your goals are and what you use the car for.
I'm in the same position as you. I've decided to go with the Kuhmo Ecsta ASXs size 215/50 on my stock wheels. They're reasonbly priced. I had the BFG KDWS tires on my camaro... handled awesome... wore disgustingly bad! Maybe 12-15000!
just installed some kumho ecsta asx's (all season extreme) on the talon today. got them for a good price too. $100 a piece shipped from tire reack online. treadwear rating is 420. i didn't want a super soft tire. yeah, super soft is grippier. but, i didn't wanna have to buy another set of tires after 10k miles. no problem with really loud tread noise. only put them on today, so, i can't give you a long term impression. can't complain so far.
Originally posted by karnsatron I've got the Contiextremecontact on my Talon. Stock size and they handled great during the winter and when it was nice out. The reviews for them were pretty good too. I'd recommend them.
i agree. ive had mine for about 2k miles. they were great in the snow and i dont have any traction problems now that its spring. sidewalls are a little soft but i would say they handle almost as good as the toyo proxies i had on before. at $80 each they are great tires.

+1. I had them on a 92 integra (very light car) and I had no problems doing 90+MPH (on a closed circuit, of course) through extremely heavy downpours and puddles. Couldn't get them to hydroplane - they seemed to actually grip better in the rain. Dry traction was nothing great though, but then again you have AWD.
