Does UPS ever deliver early?

Im expecting a package, and the tracking number says it we arrive on friday.

The tracking info says it arrived in richmond, california yesterday. Richmond is about 50 miles from where I live, yet I have to wait 4 days for it to show up?

Does UPS ever deliver earlier than what the tracking info says? Im damn sure they do deliver late sometimes...

Waiting for shipments has always been like x-mas for me, I swear. I already know whats in em, but I always get excited when the box shows up, I break it open to see some nice new/used car parts. It literally makes my day.

I've had a UPS package show up a day early before. 99% they have come on the day predicted.

They'll try to deliver on that day, but it sucks to be you if you work during normal hours (like from 9 am to 5 pm), which is when they'll deliver it.

I was in the same situation a week ago. The package came 2 days earlier than the tracking number said.

That is why I ship all my crap to work, I hate getting home and finding that stupid "sorry we missed you" note.

I used to get those at the old house but now tires and boxes just appear in front of my garages. My driveway is around 80'(?) and no one except myself and neighbor uses it so ups thinks its ok to just leave(which it probably is). Fedex always comes to the door, sometimes I feel bad they wasted time.
My last delivery UPS made arrived like 4 days early with my steam-vac and I was very pleased. Even though the box just appeared as usual. I have shipped ups from work though.

I alway get it almost exactly on time. A few intstances they have messed up and sent it back and forth between two cities within 10 miles of my house and it was later obviously Edit-I didn't realize you were from Cali. When the shipped my packages back and forth in the past it was between richmond and corcord. It always takes 2-3 days to get to my house after it gets to richmond when they don't screw up.
