new head

i just picked up a head with new valve stem seals so its all lubed up. my question is, shouldnt i be able to spin the cams by hand? these things are locked tight.

if the cams are inside of the head then trying to spin them would include trying to open and close the valves which you can do by hand unless you are superman

LOL! Compressing 8 valve springs takes some serious nuts. Try compressing one to remove it and redo the seals. (without the proper tools) Its QUITE tough.
Its why my head isn't back together yet!

I think you could be able to spin the cams by hand, but you gotta be a really lonely guy.
