hi everybody my names nick. Well i have a 91 laser rs turbo fwd and i recently stumbled a cross a three tgousand dollar loan and i want to shut a few people who hate dsms up. My question is how much horsepower roughly that my car will be producing after the following mods, answers as soon as possible are appreciated.
1. straight line upper and lower intercooler pipe
2. Dejon tool three inch intake
3. machv 3"in o2 sensor housing with atmo dump
4. machv 2nd gen stage 2 ported manifold
5. three inch 02 housing back exhaust
6. hallman mechanical boost controller at 20psi
7. hks ssqv blow off valve
8. competition 4 puck 2100lb racing clutch
9. autometer boost gauge
10. mitsubishi oem lightened flywheel
11. and i almost forgot an 8cm ported turbo inlet
I need a quarter mile estimate and a horsepower estimate asap!
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! HURRY!!!!!!!!!!
you have to do some research...you cant just buy a boost controller and set it to 20psi without other fuel mods.this is a dsm..there are other things that might go wrong..i would do one thing at a time and go from there..that should give you a start
I already have walbro fuel pump and boost cut controller, and all of those mods listed are on a brand new bottom block and a rebuilt head. All the mods that were listed i already have. i just want to know what you guys estimate since your the senior citizens of this site.
on a serious note, i am not sure on the 1g specs but on 2g it has 210 hp stock. nothing on your list will give more than 20, maybe 30 horse power gains. change turbo and injectors and all computers nessasary and then see what kind of gains you get. the question is, what are you trying to beat?
I,m trying to beat a built 5.0 91 with cams heads magnapack exhaust, edelbrock carb, edelbrock intake manifold, 373 gears, and port work. it's gonna be a 50 mile an hour roll.
by wanting to run 20lb's. you should get injectors an s-afc and get it tuned then go from there. dont just turn the boost to 20 and think your done, prob get one or two runs and youll have your intercooler heatsoaked. you might still have a hard time off a roll with that 5.0, try to go from a 2nd gear roll about 35-40 so your turbo is fully spooled..brake boost and thats your best bet
i dont have a super afc but i do have the injectors from a cyclone motor which causes it to run somewhat rich but not to bad, the only prob that im having is traction, im not having any kind of fuel issues, but traction is really kickin my ass, with all of the aftermarkets my car boosts at full throttle at any rpm low or high. three thousand dollars was what i spent on the rebuild and all the parts above should be fun too watch.

you dont want to even try to boost 20 on a stock turbo, you need help that motor has more potential then what you gave it, I hope you didnt spend all 3,000 dollers on that stuff and didnt even think about fuel or turbo.
