Cause I love DSMtalk so much, I decided to make another video for you guys!
The car was an *extremely* MINT Pontiac Fiero GT with a S/C V6 conversion. The motor is not even fully broken in yet. He had a blower and it was cammed, corvette brakes, etc... The guy was extremely cool and we chatted for a little bit after we raced. The car is faaast...Im guessing I trap somewhere around 106 watch to see what happens..
My car is a 90 GS-T..mods in sig..I was running 14lbs
Re: Supercharged V8 Fiero vs. ME! YES ANOTHER VIDEO!!
That thing better beat a pretty much stock 1G. FWD is better on the freeway, but a 300+hp plastic Fiero is a light and quick car. I'd race the bastard and smoke him lol.
Re: Supercharged V8 Fiero vs. ME! YES ANOTHER VIDEO!!
A Fiero is a POS oem, but the supercharged v8 makes it cool. Mid-engined v8 ftw! IB he launches pretty good too with most of the weight in the back. Motor swaps are so great if done right.
Re: Supercharged V8 Fiero vs. ME! YES ANOTHER VIDEO!!
I agree actually. The valve cover looks just like the ones found on the GM 3800 motors. When I asked the owner of the car what kind of motor he had, he didn't say 3800 supercharged v6 instead he said something that was very unfamiliar to me..not a l88, lt1, ls1, modular motor, or whatever fits in that engine bay..but he did mention the number 305..the thing is, I was so excited while I was talking to him, I was sort of out of it.. So, it sounds like a V8, definitely sounded like a V8 when he revved it for me and while he was getting on it while we were racing, but it appears to be a v6.
Unfortunatly, I was not able to get his phone number, but he said he would comment on the video via streetfire, so maybe he can clear it up.
