400whp out of an E16G is more the exception than it is the rule though.

Re: 50trim gsx vs 16g gsx

Yea very hard to believe, but nice kills. I saw something is up with those 50 trim cars.

I use to have a big16g gsx.. i now have a 50 trim gsx, and im sure a lot of people have done the same path. I could not believe my big16g setup beating my current one.

But yes maybe your car is a freak, who knows, so many variables.

Re: 50trim gsx vs 16g gsx

Sadley but true, I'm the one that did the turbo setup on Appleyards car... It's a true e316g, some of you guys think its the Bastard 20g but its not... His car is just a naturally blessed motor. I saw both the race between the GSX and the EVO and it was pretty bad...

The guy in the red GSX blew his up not too long ago...

Re: 50trim gsx vs 16g gsx

I came across this post when I was searching for the next upgrade to my evo3 turbo. I am going to concentrate on maxing my current turbo. I need a FMIC and some 264/272 cams.

The Moral of the story is ...tuning...tuning...tuning...

I guess?? The "tune" was done by a shitty narrow band and the ass dyno on Appleyards.. I guess it was dead on lol.

Thats was from a 30 kick with no traction lol. Just humor me though, who won the very first race? Tell me? Neither of our cars were really tuned lol. Plus thats what 26psi and race gas will do vs 20psi and pump lol.

Video's.

The white Evo mentioned earlier on his GT35r setup and a little teaser vid of mine when it used to run lol. (Disreguard the comments made by Mac_05_Evo and Appleyard lol.
