tranny has been on for 15000 miles i bought it few months ago have a recipts for rebuild of tranny engine and t case.
The throw out bearing is only 15000 miles old and was oem.
Is there any thing I can do to test things before I take it out.
I looked at the clutch fork only the part sticking out, It seems to be moving at full push. Should I try to just unbolt the slave and put a shim in there to see if i can get it to push out enough.
Or did I possibly bend the fork or break the pivot ball? Is there any way to check without removing tranny.
It looks like it might be easier to just pull engine instead or transaxle.
That looks like a whole lot of work and lot of time to do.
If I unbolt the slave and move the clutch fork by hand will I be able to tell anything.
This is my first man trans I have worked on.
