I am a local to that Conquest and it is a blast to watch. Redneck's can't believe it's a "durn 4 banger".

Very sweet car....makes me want another starion, except this time with a 4g63 swap.

Sounds like you are using an Auto tranny? Did you go with an adapter plate and a gm tranny?

I`ve seen 3 or 4 of these conversions. All of them, including mine, had adapter plate/GM trans. Mine`s a powerglide, but all the others I`ve seen were 3 speeds.
