Need quick answer

I have a 2g, and doing a build 6 bolt swap. I have a spare 2g intake manifold and layed a 1g gasket over it because of the 1g head! IT does not match!
the 2g manifold flange is way too small, and the 1g head ports are larger than the flange. So there is a gap where all the air will leak out.

Anyone ran into this problem? 2g manifold on a 1g head? BOOOO!!!

You needed to search I think. 1G head needs 1G manifold.

ok, i just need a to see if i made a mistake. i guess i washed this and bought a used 2g for nothing now. i guess time to buy the right intake manifold. looks like i am now upping the ante and buying an SMIM , that means i have to buy a 1g SMIM right?

yes if you have a 1g head you need to get a 1g smim
