Stupid question about Turboless Talons

There is this kid I know that thinks he drives a Ferrari when he actually drives a Talon (wit out a turbo)
I hear these Talons have Neon engines or some crap like that. What times do they get at the 1/4mile?
I'm just wondering

I dont know what motor it is. All I know is that it comes without a turbo from the factory

16's for the n/a DSM is being very generous lol. I think it runs mid to low 17's stock. Probably about the same times as your MX-3.

Mine is a automatic but the stock V6 MX3s with a manual run 16.8.
Its really slow thats why I cant wait to do a tranny and KLZE swap. At that point I should be getting high 14s and low 15s which isnt fast but atleast its not 16s and 17s

KLZE is a jdm motor that was used in Ford Probes and Mazda MX-6's in Japan. They have around 200hp.

Its a jdm from a Mazda Millenia. Its pretty much a better version of the KLDE engine that is seen in Ford Probes, Mazda 626s and MX6s. Higher comp pistons, better flowing headers and intake.
My stock engine which is a K8 is identical to these other two engines.
Except that the KLZE has about 200hp/160ft torque

all i know is my MT NT with only a catback barely loses to a tC with exhaust and intake, granted its auto so it might be a lil slower than the 15.8 scion claims for stock MT. im guessing im in the 16.3-16.7 range now (pathetic)
