Re: Killed a 07 Z-06

Good kill.. that car must be moving or the other driver sucked bad... Ranger ran 11.3 @ 126 bone stock in his Z06 and a 10.8 @ 129mph on just Drag Radials.

If the DSM won that easy then props to the owner!

Re: Killed a 07 Z-06

Sorry, I have seen some shit happen when the underdog wins, but seriously, come on.

Thats B.S.

Driver error is an understatment.

I mean a Win is a Win, but that vette would have walked all over him, from a roll, from a dig, in the water, in the air, uphill, downhill. The vette should have walked him.

Re: Killed a 07 Z-06

The vette driver did not want his license plate on video. He did not race that car. Listen in the beginning, " Don't get my plate in the video". he is probaly a cop or something lke that. So I say it was not a real race.

Re: Killed a 07 Z-06

You guys are such haters... You dont belive that people drive 130+ MPH dsms on the street? Come over 'round here, there are a few. You can have you pick. Did you here how fast that DSM was pulling throught the gears? That car was qwick.

Re: Killed a 07 Z-06

Said 11 second dsm....i think it was pretty right.

See how the vette didn't get off the line good....the gap stayed about even the whole way.

New Z06 Vette runs 12's on street tires. Sounds about right.

Re: Killed a 07 Z-06

I second 123abc's remarks! You guy needed to have a more faith in your own toys, grow some balls boys!
My Talon is not running 11 or 12 yet I would play will the guy on any track or back roads!!!! So what if he even had 700+Hp. My feeling is lets play. If I keep up in the turn that says something. If not I still had fun. OK I am old then most on th forum. I have played with a c-5 Z-06(405hp)+ M5's and they pulled some on the straights. But they wanted to talk after. They said WOW what have you done to it?? My Talon looks all stock but the rims. So I tell a white lie and say its mostly stock just rised the boost 6psi
Life/Cars are about having fun! You win some and you lose some, just take the enjoyment from it!
just my .02

Re: Killed a 07 Z-06

New z06 is rated at 11.7 on the track. On the street its basically a different story. Anything could happen.
