Yeah, but I'm mostly curious about their spool times as well as test results with any dsmers seeing that they are offering something different.

I've been sponsored by Comp and have a custom Comp turbo. The car should be done in October. I will pm you and post results. Contact Justin's Direct#: 909.841.0326.

Re: Does anyone have any experience with the triple ball bearing turbo's from Comp?

The car was finished in January. It's a 2.0 motor. I'm running FP4R cams, a Forrester IM with a Q45 TB, 3" piping throughout , and a 4" intercooler. The turbo is on a JHRacing Divided T4 mani.

Mike Reichen is tuning my car and is giving me results. My Comp Turbo is a custom twin scroll 70mm triple ballbearing .70A/R T4. He seems to be really impressed by the spool of the turbo. It spools really, really fast, period (being 70mm makes it that more impressive). Right now my motor hasn't been broken in yet so while tuning it he is feathering it at part throttle and seeing 25psi before 6000rpm. I'll do an updated after the full tune with a wide open full throttle pull.

I to am sponsored by comp but haven't run the new triple yet, I have run there dual ball bearing for years with great spool and no failures. Great guys to deal with, and great quality product and unlike Garret everything is fully rebuild-able and serviceable.

Re: Does anyone have any experience with the triple ball bearing turbo's from Comp?

Finally got the bitch back home! I'm speechless with this car. It rides so much better than I expected. I can't thank Reichen enough. The car feels good and sounds crazy. On a fourth gear pull 25psi 4600-4800rpm and I wasn't full throttle. This thing spools fast and the boost recovery when I shift is fucking insane .

I completely agree! I've ran one of Joe's ceramic Dual Ball Bearing 67s for the last couple of years....great turbo!

I'm now waiting on my own custom TBB 70mm turbo. I was assured that it will spool much quicker than a 67/P-trim plus outflow it up top! I can't wait

Eh...I was interested because of all the bells and whistles this turbo has. Sounds like a great product but IMHO just give me a 2.3 and Holset super 40.

A 2.3 will work help for low end torque, but i really don't think you understand the entire situation. I have a ported Forrester IM with a Q45 TB, 3" IC piping, A 4" core, FP4R cams, and 3" downpipe to catback. The turbo stills spools as soon as I touch the throttle. But what stand out is the boost recovery, the shit is insane. It does not stop spinning. Oh, last thing my turbo is underrated at 80lbs/min.

I love me some 70mm. I don't run BB (I really just wanted to make big numbers I don't care about spool) It's rated at 88lb/min I've seen about 65 so far @ 36psi.
