Re: My custom 2g mudflaps what do you think?

haha kool, might look into that for the summer. Any1 think of something for a side skirt lip? I dont think i would put one on, but since we are on the subject =)

also, I have seen some 1g dsm with mudflaps, not to bad looking, idk how they would hold up though. also, any1 looking to use their splash guard screws/plugs thing again. the IKEA material is to heavy for those and they rip out with a little snow on them +40mph, trust me finding the one I lost was easy, but if it happens again I wont be able to go back and find it. lol just get a long screw and bolt for the hole's and then go from there. hope that helps.

If they are anything like my OEM mudflaps you cant take em off after winter unless you have touch up paint ready to fix where sand and grit rubbed the paint away. I love my OEM's despite much negitive feedback, I do wish they didnt leave a noticable scuff spot though, so I could take them off If I wanted to. Kinda reminds me of bra's for cars, sure they protect, until you realize you cant take it off because it ruined the paint underneath...
Just my .02...
I like your Flaps to the op though.

Re: My custom 2g mudflaps what do you think?

They arent that tight on the car so they just tap the body. They are loose and do not scrape and gring on the paint =) thanks for the comments. They are still funtioning perfect. =)

I just wonder how the HDR lip looks on 2GA's. I've been afraid to try it and never seen any pictures of one.

Re: My custom 2g mudflaps what do you think?

I dont see what you have to lose. It costs 20 bucks max and takes minutes to install/uninstall.

Plus, you can take pictures so other people with 2ga's can decide if they like it or not.

The previous owner of my car had them on. They were hard plastic though and didn't "flap." Once I was lowered they scraped over speed bumps and were getting chewed up so I ditched 'em.

Me too. I don't think it will look right seeing as though the bottom of our bumpers are curved, not flat like 2gb's/etc...

But seeing as though my bumper is off, I may try it and see.
