Kelford and GSC.

Im going back and forth between the decision on Kelford and GSC cams. Both are very similar but is the difference enough to pick one over the other? Even though it was just one test Kelfords have a little more peak HP and the GSCs look to have a little better ramp rate but sense then slightly changed there grind specs. I have a more displacement so ramp rate probably wont matter much and both seem to have the range im im looking for. Im on a 2.2 stroker (92mm), Kiggly springs, Borg Warner 88/75 T4, with a 9K rev limit.

Are you using a stock rod length? What cam did you eventually choose?

I'm on a 94mm crank, 150mm rods, 86mm -6mm piston. I too am contemplating cam selection and am down to the same two choices, however I'm only considering the kelford 264 and the gcs s1 268. I'm leaning toward the latter. I will be using a smaller turbo and want a road race type build. I'm interested to know how you made out.

I'm using 150mm rods. I went with the S3's. I was set on the S2's but after several phone calls with Aaron (English racing), Marco (Magnus), and Greg (GSC) they told me to jump to the S3's. They all have experience with the 2.2's and said it would not hurt my low end at all. They also told me my set up is kind of like the 2.4 you should go to the next cam size. The S2's with a Borg Warner 60mm (83/75) would make a nasty road race car. Good luck.
