I have my gains set. i was just wondering what song everyone uses when they set there gains for their stereo.

Novice Turn the gains all the way down and do one amp at a time. Turn the deck almost all the way up, then slowly turn the gain up on the amp until you hear the distortion start then back it off a bit until the distortion goes away. Repeat for any other amps in your system. Hook all amps back up and crank it and see how it sounds. If say your sub amp is way louder than the rest of the system turn the gain down gradually until the system balances nicely. As a general rule of thumb going past half on the gains is to much in most cases considering you have a deck that puts out 4 volts pre out or more. Hope that helps
