Rummaging through my pile of old laptops ( I have a lot of older laptops that are just sitting in a pile in my room), I come across a Toshiba from around 1996 that has a nice sized screen. Seeing as how it doesn't work all that well, I thought it would be fun to extract the LCD screen and see if there are any uses for it. I've seen small LCD screens (5" - 6") are less than $200 online, but I thought that perhaps I could use this relatively large screen, and save myself a couple hundred $$$.
I plan on getting a PS2 for my car (to keep my passengers occupied) to play dvds and games, and I was wondering if this screen could be attached to a PS2 and mounted somehow. If not, I'll either get a small, cheap LCD; or I'll just not hook up an LCD in my car at all (people should be happy enough just to ride in it
I just thought it would be kinda cool, if it could be done.
