i just keep hearing about boost controller but i don't know what it is or what it does to better the perfromance of the car. can you put one in any DSM
well its only for turbo cars. It controls the turbo witch is pretty much a air compressor. If you are familuar with air compressors they have a valve on them so that you can the amout of pressure you want flowing, well its the same way for a turbo. The turbo is like a air compressor and the boost controller is like the vavle that adjusts the pressure. When you get a boost controller you can turn the boost (pressure) up witch gives you more air flow and more power. But one thing to always remeber is that you must keep a air fuel ratio within a certain area, so you can't crank the boost up as high as you want. I hope this helps.
BTW, this should be in the genral or off-topic area not the electronics.
thanks sorry for the stupid question but i'm new at this so i just want to learn as much i can before i actually get my car
