A Pillar Gagues: Where to run all the wires?

OK guys and gals, a couple of questions:

1) I am installing my Ultra-Lite Boost and A/F ( ) gaues. I bought the Lo-Tek dual pod for the A-pillar. But, where on a 1g do you run all the wiring coming from the gagues? I tried to take off the A-Pillar thinking I could drill a small hole in it and run it all straight down the A-pillar. But, when I tried to do it, it seemed as if there was something blocking the passage. Any help?

2) I put a kink in the shitty nylon tubing that was sent with the boost gague. If I use some rubber/silicone hosing that is a little over 1/8" is it gonna give me an innaccurate read on the gague? I was thinking I would run the rubber/silicone tubing for most of the way. But, when I get to the actual gague itself, place a small piece of the nylon tubing that came with it inside the rubber/silicone tubing and connect it to the gague. Any help?

I was kind of lazy when I put mine in so I just ran the wires behind the pod, kind of tucked them under the a pillar panel a little and ran them behind the fender into the engine compartment. All you can see when opening the doors are a fer wires running for a few inches.
