throttle switch

1.8 throttle body
i wanna know if switchin to a 2nd gen throttle body on to a first will help performance wise.and then if i would be able to switch a 2.0 throttle body to a 1.8... becaus i wanna switch to a 2.0 performance throttle for my 1.8
i know it sounds complicated

Yes. But it doesn't fit the 1.8 manifold. The bolt pattern is different.
