My car sounds like it's dragging a chain?

Three mechanics confirmed the rear end in my car had a bad pinion bearing, ring, and pinion so I just replaced it with a LSD from a '95 GSX (both my car and the doner were manuals). While the whining and groaning is gone, there's still a sound as if I'm dragging a chain behind me. It seems to intensify as you apply more throttle. Any ideas?

Just a wild guess, but I had a sound just like that. It was acctually the heatshield on the transfer case, it was rubbing against the driveshaft so i just put some rtv on it to hold it in place and quiet it down.

Alright I'll have to look at that when I get a chance next. The sound honestly sounds like I am dragging a chain or shaking car keys. Also it gets louder when I make left hand turns. I'm hoping to get this diagnosed and fixed once and for all because I am getting tired of working on this thing. Could it be a wheel bearing or CV joint? I sure hope it's not the differential...

Check the brake pad shields too. I've bumped mine once or twice doing clutch swaps. They get bent onto the brake rotor making noise when you drive.
