JUST BOUGHT A S&R (STOLEN AND RECOVERED) CONVERTIBLE WITH NO MOTOR AND TRANS. PICKED UP 2.0-TURBO AND AUTO TRANS AT LOCAL SALVAGE YARD, ORIGINAL COMBO IN CAR. NOW COMPLETELY INSTALLED IN CAR. PROBLEM, NO PLUG WIRES TO REFERENCE. QUESTION IS; STANDING IN FRONT OF CAR, LEFT TO RIGHT, ENGINE CYLINDERS 1-2-3-4 OR 4-3-2-1, I AM PRETTY SURE IT IS 4-3-2-1 BECAUSE OF THE SHORT #1 PLUG WIRE. ARE THE COIL PACKS ALSO IN LINE (L TO R) 4-3-2-1 OR STEPPED TO FIRING ORDER 1-3-4-2? ANYONE GOT A SCHEMATIC? PLEASE HELP.

Sorry about the doublepost ?! I just took the details out of my Chiltons... I'll have to go out to the garage to confirm what order the wires attach to the coil, since the stupid book's diagram showed it top to bottom (duh, it's left to right) ;) I'll get back to you tonight.

Oh and BTW, it's "1G" and "2G" ;) What kind of 2G's do you have in the yard?

G2CONV sounds better than 2GCONV. Very few "2G's". Having trouble finding what I need. Mostly hulks (body shells), but if you need something specific I can check inventory from home and let you know. I have an aftermarket aluminum intercooler to intake tube left over from the conv I am working on.

Ok, good thing I went and checked! The wires attach to the coil pack (left to right) in this order: 4-1-2-3
So it's a little different than what we thought. Turns out that's what Chilton's was saying too, they just showed it top to bottom instead of left to right

I hope this clears it up and you can finally get past that part - good luck on yer project! :)
