Joking and chastising aside, you only need a boost controller if you want to easily raise the boost higher than the wastegate spring(s) are set for.....without having to pull the wastegates apart to change springs. It doesn't matter how many turbos there. Some people have been complaining about the user-friendliness of some electronic boost controllers lately.
