Drove it home for $5k a few weeks ago. A trailer had backed into it so my buddy let me have it for cheap. No frame or pillar damage at all, 13k miles on her, clean title etc. It is bone stock minus AMS 3" turbo back exhaust, and stance GR+ pro coil overs.

Here she sits now. I have replaced the passenger side doors, side-skirt and fender. Still waiting for my headlight and side mirror. I have put about $700 into it so far in repairs for all my parts. Now I will just need some paint and I'll be good to go. Also decided to get rid of the 18x9.5 rota p45r's it came with.

but buying a salvaged car isnt for everyone. salvaged cars has its downsides and if you're not planning on keeping the car and/or you're not good with cars...you shouldnt get one. lol
I thought any damage would make it salvaged IF its reported. I've seen people say a car was salvaged because the car was involved in a fender bender. Well, congrats on the car
You really need to google Salvage cars and learn before commenting.
Typically they salvage a car when the cost to repair it exceeds 75% of its value. So, if you have a 1995 GSX where the technical resale value is probably $3500, a fender bender would total the car, and it would be salvage if repaired. Understand?
Nice pickup dude. I looked at a wrecked EVO about a year ago and they wanted 10 grand for it. I am thinking of getting rid of the 2g and getting an EVO myself.

Thanks. And just beacuse you have 500hp does not mean it has to be a drag car. There are more then a handful of stock appearing evo's with more then 500+hp.
Anyways, car did awesome for the shootout trip, minus the clutch which was on its way out.
Took it out last night for its last time out for the season. Its getting what I'll call the "stage 1" of my car which will be fueled by E85. I'd like too test out this stock turbo which is proven to be pretty awesome. I'll do the STM setup like I wanted for 2011
