Offered for sale is my 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST FWD turbo. I am the 2nd owner and have had it since 1998. It was in Arizona from 2000 to 2013. It has been garage kept for most of its life. The car has been well cared for, but I would not say it has been babied. Anyone who puts the time and money into performance modifications and then says they never drove it hard is either a liar or a fool. The car runs great! It is made to be driven and I hope it finds a home with someone who will enjoy driving it as much as I have. Boost is currently set at about 22 psi but that can be easily changed with the electronic boost controller. I would describe the body as good from far, but far from good. There are lots of little scratches and dings, but nothing major. The front bumper cover has crack in it and is damaged on the underside. That is bound to happen with a car this low. The coilovers can be adjusted so the car is back at stock height should the new owner choose. The only things wrong with the car are the cruise control and the rear defrost do not work. The rear defrost was damaged from removing tint. If you are patient, you can mask the lines and fix it with a kit. I didn’t drive it a ton in the winter so I never bothered. The axles, coolant hoses, battery, and rear brakes were all changed in the last year. The timing belt was done at 60k and 120k. See list of modifications below. I’m asking $7,000 or best offer, but I’m not going to take less than asking for at least a few weeks. I’m not in a hurry to sell. If I had a better spot to park it I would probably just keep it. Please don’t waste my time if you’re not serious.
