Does anyone know if they make a carbon fiber hood for the 1gs? Specifically the 91's. I've seen a 92 with a carbon fiber hood. Do you guys think that a 92 hood could fit on a 91. Help would be greatly appreciated on this manner. Thanks

Beware...

I have a TC spoiler carbon fiber hood and they sent it to me scratched to fuck! I installed it in the dark and drilled the hoodpins before I looked at it under a real close inspection so I cant send it back. I think the scratches may be under or very deep in the clear coat because I am a detailer and I buffed and compounded the shit out of it and its still there. Looks like only wet sanding will get it out....

Also TC spolier CF has no hood latch just so you know...

i have a tc spoiler hood too. it's not that good quality because the edges are rough. also the underside of the hood is not finished - it was like all scratched under the hood.

oh yeah it saves 10lbs on a car that weighs 3600lbs with driver and gas so its 3590lbs so that like what knocking 0.01off in the 1/4 :ghey:

unfortunately, i think tc spoiler is the only company that makes CF hoods for the 90-91 E/T/L. i've done plenty of searching before i finally found the hood from TCS.

I remember a GB from Magnus Motorsports awhile back on the 90-91 hoods. Did'nt consider one then.

I sent them an email recently if they'd do it again so will post their answer.

Though looking at the pic of the 90.. seems you'd prol want to get some CF Vinal grafix to cover the headlights.

I may be possibly doing a group by for 1g carbon fiber hoods with LATCHES direct bolt on...very good quality painted undersides.. this a new company here in canada...the hood would probly go for around 400 if I can get 10 or more orders

As for details the all hoods have factory latches and mounting holes.

These hoods are perfect install.

There very nicely made. fiberglass and carbon frame work.

Holes for your nossles can be made on your own

Colors are available in red, blue, grey and black weave.

Different colors go for an extra 130 bucks.

yup 90-91 first if it goes over I will go to the 92-94 then maybe 2gs but not sure...
