I can't believe how different the 1G 60mm TB is compared to the 2G 52mm. So what's involved with plopping the 1G TB on a 2G. Is it just a simple 4 bolts and reconnecting the vac lines? Do I need an adapter? If so, where do I get one? I don't support stealing parts from junkyards and they want $50 for one. Is the gain worth it? What kind of gains are we talking about?

a lot of questions...i know.

Yep, just a bolt on. No adaptors needed. Make sure you get the one with 4 vacuum lines on top.

As for the difference, maybe better throttle response and a little more flow in the top end. Hard to actually feel the difference but I'm sure the dyno would reveal some.

To realize the benefit of the swap you would have to gasket match the intake manifold to the new 60mm throttle body.
