I have a 1G non-turbo and when the car is started cold, the idle jumps up and down from about 2,000 RPM to 1,500 RPM. What could be done to stop this, I was thinking of just grabbin a trottle body from the junk yard. Also, are turbo and non-turbo t-bodies the same because thats all they seem to have listed on eBay.

not too familiar with non-turbos but a leak may cause that in your intake

also the ISC can cause bad idle, is your car a 420a or 4g63?

Hey im having almost the same problem in my Plymouth laser turbo. Only in mine its a constant thing the idle will usually pick a spot between 1g to 2g to idle at until i turn the car off then fluctuate about 1-3 hundred rpm as if i was reving then letting off while im at idle. My check engine light is on so i had a diagnostic run and five codes poped up three had to do with my air flow and i think the other two where throttle sensors. if it will help i will find the paper and tell you guys what exactly they where. Any help would be much appriciated.
