I tried searching for this but found nothing. Anyone know what an assembled block/head w/ internals weighs? (w/o manifolds, turbo, etc.)

i think the assembled block alone is got to be around 200...add a complete head to that...im going with 315

This sounds about right. I remember helping my buddy carry his assembled SR with both manifolds, GT2871R turbo and coolant/oil lines up his steep assed stairs from his basement. It was definately at least 300lbs and the SR blocks are aluminum.

A complete short block weights 209lbs with oil pan, all internals and water pump.

The head is 46lbs.

I've shipped quite a few.

A head is definitely not more than 100 lbs. I'm really weak and could lift it up. After packing one up to ship, it was 50lbs. If anything the block should be 150 to 200. Everything together shouldn't be over 250.

Just weighted my block with rotating assembly nothing else was 164.5lb
