A/F during spool up of turbo

What do you want the A/F when your turbo is spooling. I have a FP3065. Do you want it to be leaner or richer. The A/F effects how fast the turbo spools up right.

A leaner AF ratio causes higher exhaust temperatures. Higher temps will spool a turbo faster
Yeah, you want it leaner. Not too lean though. I personally aim for 12-12.5. Another thing you can do is retard the timing if you have independent control. I prefer running it leaner though.
Yeah, I imagine you have a wideband with this setup, so you would really know how lean you are; not just by judging some narrowband 02v logs...

- Yeah, lean is better, but not too lean b/c knock is not fun...Once it's too lean then say bye to timing and then bye to pistons after that...

What are you tuning with?/
Im using a dsm link right now. But plan on using the AEM soon
when spooling...isn't it better to advance the timing or retard it? I've seen advancing it is better but haven't tested that or anything.

retarding it will let more unburt gas into the manifold, thus increasing temp and pressure, speeding up spool. thats what those anti lag systems do on rally cars
