Lately my Apex egt guage is doing some weird stuff. The needle used to stick around 7 or 8 and a few days ago it would wildly bounce. Now it seems to be stuck at around 8 and 9. When I first did my clutch swap two weeks ago, I noticed that the guage would bounce the needle everytime I pushed in the clutch in neutral. That is not moving and not reving, just pushing it in. I live in a pretty salty environment (Guam). Maybe the inside of my guage has rust (I noticed rust coming through the paint on the retaining ring on the outside of the guage)? If my guage is shot, where can I get another that will use the Apex probe connection. I drilled a hole in the manifold and I don't want to mess with it. Should I bother getting another Apex unit? Maybe something is loose? TIA
