i have ARP studs on my car for awhile now. i thought i blew the head gasket and when i went to remove the head, i noticed that half of my studs came loose......

i cant find the sheet of paper that came with the studs.....

so does anyone know the torque specs? studs are coated in 10w30 oil........

all i want to do is retorque them.

these are for a 1G............

i emailed ARP and they sent me a reply back saying to torque them to 120 ft lbs........... but i dont remember that piece of paper saying anything near 120 ft lbs.......... i thought it was more like 80 or so......

thx for any help..

Its 80lbft when torquing them down with the supplied moly lube, or 120 when torquing with motor oil, 10w30 I think. So if you already got oil all over them then maybe 120 would be better.
