The mains are strong enough for alot more power than the stock head and rod bolts. They aren't the weak link like the others are. With the ARP mains it is also recommended that extra machine work is done, mainly lineboring with the ARPs installed. It just adds up to extra time and cost.
Arp main studs
How come nobody replaces their main bolts with Arps? Everyone uses the ARP rods and head studs, But not the mains. Why is it?
