Got my 90 gsx all back together tonight. Very happy. My P/S belt will not tighten up. I have it adjusted to the max but i have over 1/2 of deflection. My Alternator belt is fine though. (ac delete) Could the belt have stretched? It does make noise at higher rpms, its moves it touches the timing cover it looks like, or its noise just from it moving so much. Im sure i just need a new belt but i wanted some advice first. Thanks


When i first drove the car on the passenger side i have a metal on metal noise, JUST like a backing plate rubbing. I moved the plate a bit and it still did it. I was starting to get mad, then realized the coat hanger i had holding up the driveshaft was rubbing the shaft :( DOH!!
