Recently I installed the HKS SSQV on my 98 GST. After a day or two the CHECK ENGINE light came on. I went to dealer and they told me it was cause by the HKS valve because of too much back pressure passing through the TPA or TPS censor or something like that im not sure. They said I should be fine just the light maybe back on again. What is that suppose to mean ? How should i prevent it ? Is it because I am venting my valves ? Should I adjust the screw on the back of the valves ? Anyone experiencing the same problem with their aftermaket valves ? Any infos would great, thanks.

I dont have that problem but i am wondering how that BOV sounds. Does it have the high pitched squeak sound like a ''pphhheeewwww" or more like the ''puuuussshhh'' sound of air just being shoved out of a vent?
