They already have a S/C kit for that car puttinig it well over 500whp... i can only image what it will do then. Dodge knew what they were doing when they had SRT develop their cars.

has there been any news on a MANUAL transmission for the srt-8 300c? next year if i can make myself un-ass the cash i was considering a cts-v but the 300c is so much less- with MORE power- i can't drive an auto though (never learned.... )

I wouldn't call BS cause I work for Phil Long Jeep and Chrysler here in Denver, Colorado. I drove one yesterday and I'm speechless on the performance of this vehicle. I loved it...... bad part about it was that this old dude owned it lol.

Did anyone asks him if he has the base 425hp model or if it has one of the factory installed performance packages? Because there is also a 500hp and 550hp version available.

It's stock 425.

I have not heard of ANY 500, 550 HP packages.

Sounds like BS to me considering the Viper is only 500 HP.

I've not heard a peep about a stick being made available. I could live with an auto that runs low 13's high 12's with just mashing the gas though.

I work for a chrysler, dodge, jeep, hyundai dealership. Both our General Manager and owner have 300c srt8's, there are no factory packages as of yet. All the hp improvements are aftermarket.

No word on a stick yet either. Doubt they'll build one. Drive one and you'll soon see that with the autostick feature on the 5 speed automatic it really doesn't need one that badly. Gorgeous fast cars though.

Just dyno'd one today. 359 whp, very solid car, loved it.

I've heard they pick up some HP after about 3-4k miles.

Yes its a Dynojet, I'm not sure of the miles, but it did have a K&N in it.
