Measure the relationship between your existing rims and your suspension. (Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 25.1mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 13.1mm more than before. )

Go to https://www.willtheyfit.com/ to figure-out the best combos for tire width and profile. 215/40 seems to be a decent tire size for maintaining close to factory rolling diameter (speedo accuracy), but a 215mm wide tire is just marginally wide enough for an 8" rim. The tire will only protrude 1/4" past each side of the rim, making curb rash a real danger.
