I'd say go 2.25" cat back with a hi-flo cat. Anything more for a little 1.8 would be overkill, and would destroy any bottom end our cars have IMO. Keep SOME back pressure so it doesn't take 12 seconds to get from 0-60, and go with the 2 1/4". Lemme know what goes on, and how it sounds after you get it done
I dont think their is that much of a difference between a 2.25 and 2.50" exhaust. i have a 2.50" exhaust and i still have low end power. some one with a 2.25" system give me your 1/4 times and we can compair
