Im cleaning up an old HX35 I bought. I have it apart right now and I plan on shaping up the compressor housing and turbine housing. Id prefer to media blast it, would using sand be ok for these parts? Please let me in on what you guys have done before. Thanks!

I don't think I would use sand on those. I would probably use glass bead or something like that.

It would be ok to use sand on it if you are planning on putting them into a parts bath of some sort after the blasting. I would not use sand and then put it back together without doing the second part.
