that is just volume of the cylinder. I wanted combustion chamber volume. Don't worry about it anymore I have found it. 47cc

cylinder volume=502.2
Factory Gasket @1mm=5.9
factory dish=-14
combustion chamber=47

this equals 8.5:1 compression

I was trying to figure out factory compression with the mitsu metal 1.6 gasket=9.4cc

so with everything else equal but the new gasket compression is 8:1

Then I did it with JE pistons @.5mm over

cylinder volume=508.1
Factory Gasket @1mm=5.9
JE dish=-9.3
combustion chamber=47

compression is 9.17:1

now with the 1.6mm (9.4cc) mitsu metal gasket and everything else being equal

compression is 8.73:1

these are off very slight because I did not figure in piston to wall clearence with the distance from the top of the piston to the top commpression ring.

also i forgot to add:

the 14cc for the stock piston is made up. I just made the equation work at 8.5.

Also normally you piston at TDC is in the hole like .020 so i did not figure that in which would make the JE pistons around a even 9:1

I was just trying to get a close quess with the 1.6 gasket on both JE and factory pistons
