ok im lost, search didnt do anything for me so, temp stays at 180o-190 on the guage, so it apears its not overheating it keeps pushing antifreeze out the cap, and last night, it blew a plug out ( screw i had in a hose to block off water hose to turbo)

i got a 1.3 bar cap but i havent put it on do to not sure is its the issue

im thinking themostat, but, the temp looks ok, of course the sensor is in the upper hose so...

any ideas other than ... what i said

The new cap will probably do it, the more preassure the more efficiently the cooling systeme can work.

To a point of course,

My Talon had the same symptoms, a cap fixed them but now the thing pushes coolant out through the overflow bottle? I dunno I have yet to try to diagnose the new problem.
figured it out, t-stat was sticking all is good as new no more overflow / leaking :)

Try a therm. If that does'nt do it it may be the HG. When my 91 awd started pushing coolant after a hard run I did everything I could think of. Finally changed the HG and problem fixed.
And if you change the HG you may never even know where it was leaking. I never did. Was just a pin-hole leak somewhere.
ummm i already fixed it , i said that, t-stat was the issue
oh my bad lol
hey I'm having the same problem, whats the HG?? also how to u check to see if your thermostat is sticking?? the top hose, that go's into the radator, its gets really large, I have aintfreeze leaking around the edge of where the radator cap is, and if I fill it up with water, it shoots it out the bottem, so what should I check and how to check it??
^^^Well you should replace to the t-stat as the best one most places carry is like $10 or less, you can test it but don't bother and REPLACE IT. If your radiator hose is swelling up then it's shot so REPLACE IT, and I would suspect that the rest of you're hoses are due for replacement, one of the things I do when I buy a car is replace just about everything cheap and that is on the maintenace schedual for the car, all belt's, hoses, ect. Lastley, HG in many cases including this one is head gasket.
OH KKK DDDDUU I just smaked my self in the four head, HG dduu, about that hose, thats what I was thinking, that it needed replaced, and I ask my brother (since for the pasted 4-5 years he has been trying to rebuild this thing) and he said that they don't go bad by just swelling up, that we have a blockage somewhere, and so far I've check to see how each hose flows rad, out and each hole seems to flow rad out, so I'm starting to think its just that hose, lucky enough I have two other car parts full in my garage to play with :).. thanks peps
