DSMLink, I'm upgrading, What problems might I face?

I'm upgrading my car that already has a DSMLink system installed on it, What problems as far as the chips presets might I face? and how hard/easy is it to upgrade chips and set the different levels for idle/redline/MAFT/etc.

New to DSMLink and not uber sure what the best way to tackle this problem is.

My car is a 1G AWD T Talon.

Thanks for you help!!!

Everything in DSMLink is end user adjustable. You don't have to send anything back to be reset, rechipped, or any of that stuff.

The only issue you will have is that if you lose battery power you are going to go back to the base settings that are in it by default. You will just have to go to ECU->Load->Load to ECU to get your new settings back in.

Now that I think about it 1Gs don't lose their settings on a battery reset I believe. Look into it though.
Thanx alot man, I'll check into it ASAP. Trying to bump from 400 to 600 and I don't wanna screw anything up.

You are right Greenstreak. Its one of the few advantages the 1g has compared to the 2g dsmlink.
