I have a 97 Tsi AWD with 16g, Wlabro FP, 3" exhaust ext basic mods. Should I bother getting a EGT or should I just get a wideband?

wideband first for accuate air/fuel then an EGT
do you have anything for logging?
What are you using to tune with? Both of those would be rather useless without any tuning device.

I am using an S-AFC II
Well as long as you have something to make adjustments with, get a wideband. I will not tell you a specific brand, its pretty much personal preference anyways.
Wideband and a datalogger is prolly the best answer. i have the zeitronix unit in which i bought the egt with it. egt is good to have just to be safe
