I run the Manley single springs with the Comp 101400 cams, they have more lift and duration than the FP2... so you would certainly be fine with SI duals if thats the way you decide to go.2deep said:

They recommend only using these cams with dual valve springs. Will the SI Dual Springs w/ Manley Titanium Retainers that SlowBoy sells be good enough for use with these cams? I want an unbiased opinion. I'm sure if I contact FP they will say I need their springs, and if I contact SBR they will say their springs will stand up to anything. Any help will be aprreciated
I recall talking to some one at your camp before and they told me the manleys have more seat pressue than the SI kit and that the SI required some kind of funky install (head bolt clearance or some thing)MikeHuml said:I run the Manley single springs with the Comp 101400 cams, they have more lift and duration than the FP2... so you would certainly be fine with SI duals if thats the way you decide to go.

The SI kit does require a kit to space the spring correctly, and yes getting an ARP nut by the springs is a feat in itself, but it can be done if you are a little creative. I have used the SI's before in my car, but since Manley asked me to run the single spring I have with no issues what so ever.14.5 drift said:I recall talking to some one at your camp before and they told me the manleys have more seat pressue than the SI kit and that the SI required some kind of funky install (head bolt clearance or some thing)
I can't imagine single springs on the 101400 however, how high are you spinning that sucker?

Go RTM!!!!2deep said:Great Mike, I got it thru your Canadian distributer, Ziggy Dietrich. He's got a bunch of SBR goodies for me![]()
Excellant. Makes me feel alot more comfortable about my setup, being the new comp/FP cams are sort of uncharted I was worried how high I could spin my new motor. I went with the 101300/fp3 and supertech dual setup. Looking for a modest 9000RPMMikeHuml said:The SI kit does require a kit to space the spring correctly, and yes getting an ARP nut by the springs is a feat in itself, but it can be done if you are a little creative.
